Quick Start

Use this guide if you want a working deployment fast.

Prerequisites

• A workspace with at least one agent
• A public website URL you want to crawl
• Access to your website codebase or CMS template for script embedding

1. Create or Select an Agent

From the workspace:

• Go to Agents
• Create a new agent (or pick an existing one)
• Confirm it has a clear purpose (support, onboarding, lead qualification, etc.)

2. Add Knowledge Sources

Use at least one source type:

• Website: crawl and index pages
• Files: upload .pdf, .doc, .docx, .txt, or .md
• FAQs: define exact question-answer pairs for priority answers

3. Validate with AI Demo

Open the AI Demo panel and run:

• A common customer question
• A policy/edge-case question
• A question that should return “I don’t know” if content is missing

Use this to adjust AI Settings, Safety & Behaviour, and source coverage.

4. Deploy the Widget

Go to Deploy:

• Create a widget publishable key
• Copy the script snippet
• Add it to your site template

5. Verify Production Behavior

After deployment, check:

• Widget loads on allowed domains
• Chat responses are grounded and relevant
• Feedback and lead capture events are stored
