Use this checklist before announcing your assistant publicly.

Content Readiness

  • Website crawl completed for key support pages
  • Core files uploaded and indexed
  • FAQs added for exact-answer policy questions
  • Critical pages reviewed in content inspector

Behavior Readiness

  • System prompt reviewed for tone and escalation rules
  • Suggested questions configured for top intents
  • AI Demo validation completed for high-risk topics
  • Off-topic and “unknown” responses behave as expected

Safety Readiness

  • Allowed domains configured for production hosts
  • Branding settings confirmed (remove branding if applicable)
  • Member/admin permissions verified

Integration Readiness

  • Widget publishable key generated and embedded on site
  • Widget script installed in site layout
  • Webhooks tested for lead_captured
  • AI Actions tested with valid and invalid payloads

Operational Readiness

  • Team owner assigned for assistant quality
  • Conversation review process defined
  • Feedback triage workflow defined
  • Incident owner and support channel documented

Go-Live Validation

  • Perform a live chat from production site
  • Confirm X-Conversation-Id continuity across messages
  • Confirm lead submission writes a contact and updates conversation status
